A fatal accident occurred early Tuesday morning on the LATAR Expressway in Kuala Lumpur, where a car collided with a motorcycle, leaving the rider trapped underneath and killed at the scene.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar that the emergency call was received at 6:28 a.m. on August 2. Firefighters from Ulu Yam fire station were dispatched to the scene, located approximately 24 kilometers from their base.
Upon arrival, rescuers found a Perodua Kelisa had collided with a Honda RS150 motorcycle, with the rider trapped beneath the vehicle.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Malaysian man Mohamad Tuya. Firefighters reported that he had lost consciousness when lifted from under the car. Medical personnel confirmed that the motorcyclist had died at the scene. The body has been handed over to police for further investigation.
