Female civil servants in Negeri Sembilan will be allowed to leave work earlier at 2 p.m. every Friday throughout Ramadan, the state government announced.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the flexible working hours apply specifically to women employed under the State Secretary’s Office (SUK), local authorities (PBT), and state statutory bodies.
“This is a special flexible working arrangement for female civil servants during Ramadan 2026. On Fridays, they will finish work at 2 p.m. After male staff arrive, they can leave. This covers around 2,496 female civil servants in the state,” he told reporters after chairing an Exco meeting today.
Aminuddin also confirmed that special financial aid worth RM17 million will be distributed to 57,000 federal government employees in Negeri Sembilan on 14 March, ahead of the Aidilfitri celebrations.
