New on MAE: Change Your Daily Transfer Limit on MAE App

Date:

Starting 14 July 2025, Maybank customers can now adjust their transfer limits easily and securely right from the MAE app. The new feature offers greater convenience as part of Maybank’s efforts to simplify digital banking, while still keeping the Maybank2u web option available for those who prefer it.

To update your transfer limit using the MAE app, simply log in and tap on ‘Settings’ (top left corner), head to Pay & Transfer, select Transfer, then Transfer Limit. From there, choose your preferred transfer type, select your new daily limit from the dropdown menu, and hit Save Changes. If you’re increasing your limit, you’ll need to verify with Secure2u.

Security Measures You Should Know:

Any increase in transfer limit will activate a 12-hour cooling-off period to protect your account. You can still transfer funds within your current limit during this time. Once the cooling-off period ends, your new limit will automatically apply, and you’ll be notified via the MAE app or SMS.

Maybank encourages users to:

  • Regularly review and adjust limits based on actual needs
  • Monitor account activity frequently
  • Use the Kill Switch on the MAE app or Maybank2u web if suspicious activity is detected to temporarily block account access

This update ensures more control at your fingertips, backed by layers of security to keep your banking experience safe and smooth.
