Police have confirmed receiving a report regarding an incident involving an individual believed to have fallen from a tower along Jalan Ampang here yesterday.
Wangsa Maju district police chief Assistant Commissioner Annas Sulaiman said the case has so far been classified as a sudden death report.
“The Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters confirms receiving a report related to an incident involving a person falling from a tower at Jalan Ampang.
“Yes, the case has been classified as a sudden death report,” he said in a statement today.
Earlier, local media reported that a Threads user claimed to have witnessed an individual falling from a building along Jalan Ampang.
The user said the incident happened during the Zuhur call to prayer and left them shaken while driving through the area.
“My legs were trembling while driving, I saw it happen right in front of me,” the user wrote.
The incident was also captured on the individual’s dashboard camera footage before the video began circulating widely on social media.
