Police Hunt for Two Vehicles That Blocked Ambulance on Kesas Highway

Police are investigating two vehicles accused of blocking an ambulance on the Kesas Highway heading towards Klang on Monday.

Subang Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said a report was filed at 11.23am after a TikTok video of the incident, posted by user “azmanroy@85,” went viral.

“Initial investigations show the incident took place at KM36.3. The ambulance, with its siren on, was en route to Hospital Sentosa Klang to pick up a patient with a high fever, but two vehicles in the far-right lane refused to give way,” he said.

The ambulance driver was unable to record the registration numbers of the vehicles involved.

The case is being investigated under Rule 9(2) LN 166/59. Wan Azlan urged anyone with information to contact Inspector Mohd Azizul Hakim Roslan from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPT) at Subang Jaya District Police Headquarters at 011-28914495. Informants’ identities will be kept confidential.
