The motorcycle used by two suspects to escape after robbing a gold shop in a supermarket in Bandar Baru Nilai last night has been recovered by police today.
Nilai District Police Chief Superintendent Johari Yahya confirmed that the blue Yamaha Y15 was found about 1 kilometre from the scene earlier this morning.

“For updates on the gold shop robbery that occurred around 8:30 pm last night, the motorcycle used by the suspects has been recovered,” Johari said.
A team from the Forensic Investigation Division (D10) of the Negeri Sembilan Police Headquarters visited the location to conduct further investigations.
He added that the Special Investigation Division (D9) and detectives from Nilai District Police Headquarters were also present at the scene. Authorities are currently checking the vehicle’s registration number to determine whether it is genuine and to identify its owner.
Yesterday, media reports stated that two masked men stole 15 trays of gold, valued at approximately RM60,000, from a gold shop in the Bandar Baru Nilai supermarket.
The suspects, wearing helmets with face coverings, reportedly placed the stolen jewellery into a delivery service bag before fleeing on a motorcycle.
Johari also confirmed that one of the suspects was armed with a pistol, though no shots were fired during the incident.
