Police Seek Public Help To Trace Missing 14-Year-Old Boy Who Ran Away After Family Dispute

Police are appealing for public assistance to help trace a 14-year-old boy who was reported missing from his home in Kampung Pasir, Ulu Kelang, Ampang.

Ampang Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid, said the teenager’s disappearance was discovered by a complainant at about 6.40pm.

He said initial information indicated that the boy had left home following a disagreement with family members.

The missing teen has been identified as Muhammad Khalif Mohd Redzuan, described as 176cm tall and weighing approximately 55kg.

Khairul Anuar urged anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts to come forward and assist investigations by contacting the nearest police station or the Ampang Jaya District Police Headquarters operations room at 03-4289 7222.

He also advised the public, especially parents and guardians, to closely monitor their children’s movements and ensure they are not left unattended. In emergencies, the public is encouraged to contact the police or the MERS 999 hotline for immediate assistance.
