Single Father Brutally Slashed to Death, Limbs Severed in Horrific Kampung Attack

Date:

A single father was brutally killed after being repeatedly slashed in multiple parts of his body, resulting in his left hand and right leg being severed, in a gruesome attack at Kampung Kok Bedollah on Friday night.

The victim, identified as Mohd Suhairi Hasim, 46, a father of two and an excavator driver, was found unconscious around 11 p.m. by his mother, Wan Salma Wan Said, 68.

According to Wan Salma, she was inside the house preparing to sleep when the incident occurred.

“Suddenly, I heard Suhairi screaming ‘ALLAH… ALLAH…’ more than 20 times,” she told Sinar Harian when met at her home on Saturday.

“I quickly went to the window and shouted, ‘Who are you fighting with, Hairi?’” she recalled.

When she received no response, she immediately went outside toward the area where her son usually washed his excavator, located near their house.

The elderly woman said it was dark, and due to her poor eyesight, she mistakenly touched a man she thought was her son standing near the machine.

“Suddenly, that man — who turned out to be my nephew — spoke up.

“He said, ‘I did this to your son because he exposed my son online.’ Then he walked away, carrying a weapon that looked like a machete,” she said.

Shocked and horrified, Wan Salma could only watch as her son lay motionless on the ground, covered in blood.

She added that Mohd Suhairi appeared to have been slashed multiple times, with his left hand and right leg severed in the brutal assault.

Family members later pointed out the location where the victim’s body was found.
