A food delivery rider is hospitalized after a brutal stabbing attack in Sydney’s inner city overnight.
Emergency services were called to Mary Ann Street in Ultimo around 9:15pm on Monday following reports of an assault. According to police, the 24-year-old delivery rider was knocked off his bike by an unknown assailant before being stabbed multiple times with a screwdriver.
The attacker then fled on foot toward Wattle Street and remains at large. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before rushing him to hospital, where he is in serious but stable condition.
