Anti-unregistered temple activist Tamim Dahri Abdul Aziz has challenged his critics to track down his location, posting a provocative message on social media amid ongoing police investigations.

In a brief post on Threads yesterday, Tamim questioned claims that he was currently in southern Thailand, asking whether those calling for his arrest were certain of his whereabouts. He ended the post with the hashtag “catch me if you can”.
The post was accompanied by a “wanted” poster circulating online that urged the public to help authorities locate him. The message on the poster suggested that if the police were unable to find him, members of the public should assist in tracking him down and handing him over to authorities.
Police previously said Tamim could face two charges. One relates to alleged racially sensitive remarks made during a livestream, which is being investigated under the Sedition Act. The second concerns an alleged act of insulting a sacred Hindu symbol.
Tamim is being investigated over the destruction of a soolam—a sacred symbol in Hinduism—at the site of a former temple in Langkawi, Kedah. Authorities confirmed that the case has been referred to the Kedah Prosecution Office, with instructions issued for charges to be filed.
