An 18-year-old girl in eastern Thailand allegedly slashed her boyfriend’s head with a knife after he touched her recently operated-on nose, authorities reported.
The incident occurred during a heated argument at the couple’s home in Chonburi province. According to reports, the teen became upset when her boyfriend touched her nose after her cosmetic surgery, causing her pain and a “loud pop” sound from the area. Fearing her surgery had been damaged, she allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and struck him across the head.
Emergency services were called to the scene and found the man bleeding heavily from a deep four-inch scalp wound. Footage from the scene shows the woman straddling her boyfriend while pressing a cloth to his head. Both were transported to Laem Chabang Hospital, where the man received stitches. The couple reportedly remained close throughout the journey, with the woman appearing very emotional.
The teenager told police she frequently changes her appearance and “lost control” when she believed her nose job had been ruined. She claimed she slashed him once and later apologized after calming down.
Police confirmed they could not arrest the girl because the victim refused to press charges.
