A 17-year-old was arrested after a suspected stolen motorbike crashed into two cars during a dramatic police pursuit in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
The incident unfolded at about 5.03pm on Sunday after police officers on patrol spotted a motorcycle they believed had been stolen in the vicinity of Killinghall Road.
Shocking footage circulating online showed a Vauxhall Corsa travelling along the road when the motorbike suddenly appeared and slammed into the passenger side of the vehicle.
The impact sent the rider somersaulting through the air before crashing onto the road, while debris scattered across the street.
The collision also caused the Vauxhall to veer into an oncoming Audi A5 before both vehicles came to a stop.
Moments later, the rider was seen getting back on his feet and attempting to flee on foot in a bid to evade police, but he reportedly ran straight into a bollard during the escape.
A police patrol car soon arrived at the scene, with officers chasing the suspect on foot.
Despite the severity of the crash, no serious injuries were reported.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the motorcycle involved had been reported stolen and said a 17-year-old male was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving.
“The bike was subsequently found to have been involved in a road traffic collision with an Audi A5 and a Vauxhall Corsa on Killinghall Road,” a police spokesperson said.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
