Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces, Datuk Mohamed Fauzi Kamis, arrived at the Sessions Court here today to face a charge of criminal breach of trust.
The 56-year-old Major General arrived at the court complex accompanied by officers from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), drawing the attention of photographers and journalists who had gathered as early as 7am.
Dressed neatly in a dark blue suit, he briefly smiled at members of the media and greeted them with a short, “How are you today?” before raising his hand in a brief salute as he entered the courtroom.
The courtroom proceedings were orderly, with members of the public, court officials, and media representatives filling the gallery.
Fauzi was also seen occasionally conversing with MACC officers seated behind him.
