Two men suspected of firing shots at a lorry driver were injured after being hit by a four-wheel-drive vehicle in Taman Sri Kapar, Klang, on Thursday.
The incident is believed to have occurred around 9am. Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Shazeli Kahar, said the four-wheel-drive driver, who witnessed the shooting, rammed the motorcycle carrying the suspects, leaving both men injured.
“The extent of their injuries, whether serious or not, is still being determined as the forensic team continues its investigation at the scene. The identities and estimated ages of the suspects are also under verification,” he said during a press conference at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters on Thursday.
He added that the police would issue an official statement soon to provide a detailed timeline of the case and update the public on further investigation progress.
Earlier, a 13-second video circulated online showing a man lying on the road, believed to be linked to the shooting incident.
