A woman died after falling from the balcony of her 14th-floor apartment in Semenyih yesterday.
Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, said police received a report of the incident at 5:18 p.m.
“The incident was witnessed by a security guard on patrol. He saw the 48-year-old resident sitting on her balcony before falling into the parking area below.
“The woman was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe head injuries as well as injuries to her thigh,” he said in a statement today.
Her body was sent to Kajang Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The case has been classified as sudden death (SDR).
