The death toll from a suicide attack at a police compound in northwestern Pakistan has risen to 31, according to AFP, citing a police official on Saturday.
The attack took place on Friday when the attacker drove an explosives-laden vehicle into the police facility.
At the time, police officers and their families were reportedly praying inside a mosque within the compound, officials said.
The attack targeted the facility in northwest Pakistan, with authorities continuing to assess the full impact of the blast.
The latest death toll of 31 was confirmed by a police official cited by AFP on Saturday.
