A resident in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was left startled after a stranger dressed in a black sheer lingerie top and high heels was caught on CCTV lingering outside a home and behaving strangely for about 10 minutes.
The incident, which quickly went viral on Threads, reportedly occurred at around 1pm on August 5.
According to the homeowner, the individual arrived by car, parked outside the house, repeatedly got in and out of the vehicle, looked around the neighbourhood and even leaned across the bonnet of a parked car while making unusual movements.
Concerned by the behaviour, the homeowner watched the scene unfold through a security camera before contacting the police.
Authorities later identified the individual as a 54-year-old man surnamed Chen from Tainan.
Police said Chen told officers he had stopped because of the hot weather and was feeling unwell. He claimed he stepped out of his car wearing light clothing to cool down and insisted he had no intention of causing trouble.
After investigating, officers found no evidence that Chen had trespassed, damaged property, harassed residents or committed any criminal offence.
Police advised him not to remain outside other people’s homes in the future to avoid causing unnecessary concern among residents. Chen accepted the advice and left the area voluntarily.
The homeowner also confirmed that no property was damaged and chose not to file a police report.
Despite the explanation, the CCTV footage has continued circulating online, with many netizens questioning the man’s unusual behaviour.
