A mother and her child were thrown from an SUV after the vehicle crashed into a central reservation while travelling along a highway in China.
Dramatic dashcam footage shows the Honda SUV spinning across the expressway after its driver swerved at high speed to avoid a piece of plastic board on the road.

The incident happened on the Nanjing Ring Expressway in Jiangsu on Aug 18 and was captured by a vehicle travelling behind the SUV.
After swerving to avoid the debris, the driver lost control and the vehicle slammed into the central reservation before rebounding onto the highway.
The SUV then spun repeatedly across the road, with its wheels lifting off the ground as debris and broken vehicle parts were scattered across the expressway.
Two people can be seen being thrown partially out of the vehicle during the violent crash.
Four family members were inside the SUV at the time. The father and son were seated in the front and wearing seatbelts, escaping the crash without injuries.
However, the mother and child, who were seated in the rear, were ejected through the back window and landed on the expressway.
Despite the force of the collision, both survived and were taken to hospital with broken arms.
The incident has highlighted the dangers of making sudden manoeuvres at high speed to avoid objects on the road. Traffic police have advised motorists to reduce their speed gradually when encountering debris and ensure all passengers are properly restrained by seatbelts.
