Date:

New details have emerged in the shocking case of a 14-year-old boy accused of fatally stabbing his senior at a school in Bandar Utama. According to a close friend of the victim, the suspect had reportedly confessed his feelings to the 16-year-old girl the day before the attack — but was rejected.

The friend, who spoke on condition of anonymity, claimed that the boy may have been upset by the rejection and allegedly brought a knife to school the next morning. He is believed to have entered the girls’ restroom and attacked the victim inside one of the stalls.

The victim was described as kind, friendly, and athletic, actively involved in various sports including basketball. She was a well-liked student with a promising future, currently in Form Three after completing a preparatory class.

Police have confirmed that two sharp weapons were seized at the scene and that investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the brutal attack. The suspect remains in custody and will be remanded under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

The tragic case has sparked widespread outrage and grief, with many calling for stronger safety measures in schools to protect students from similar incidents.
