16-Year-Old Senior Student Remanded Until October 9 Over Form Two Student’s Death

Date:

The remand order for a 16-year-old senior student detained in connection with the death of a Form Two student at a school in Kuala Pilah has been extended by six days.

Kuala Pilah district police chief Superintendent Muhamad Mustafah Hussin said the Kuala Pilah Magistrates’ Court approved the extension to allow police to continue their investigation into the case.

He said the latest remand order began yesterday (October 4) and will run until October 9.

“For now, we are still waiting for the toxicology test results from the Chemistry Department, as the outcome of the post-mortem examination has yet to be determined,” he told Kosmo! when contacted today.

The 16-year-old is the second suspect detained to assist investigations into the student’s death.
