Images of what are claimed to be handwritten notes belonging to the teenage suspect in the Banting school stabbing case have gone viral on social media, sparking widespread concern and shock among netizens.
The documents, which have not been officially verified by the authorities, are alleged to contain handwritten plans related to the attack, including references to preparations before the incident and a list of intended targets.
According to the images circulating online, the notes appear to include a checklist of items the suspect allegedly intended to carry. The documents also contain references to personal reminders and other written points that have fuelled intense discussion across social media platforms.
The alleged notes further suggest the suspect had identified multiple individuals by name. However, the authenticity of the documents and the circumstances surrounding their circulation have not been confirmed by investigators.
The images surfaced shortly after the school stabbing incident, in which a 15-year-old Form Three student was seriously injured and rushed to hospital for treatment. Police have since arrested a 15-year-old female suspect, who has been remanded to assist with investigations.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the handwritten notes are genuine or whether they form part of the ongoing investigation. The case is currently being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder.
