Bus Driver On Motorcycle Dies After Crash At Three-Way Junction

A motorcyclist who also worked as a bus driver was killed after being involved in a collision with a car at a three-way junction in Bandar Mahkota Cheras yesterday evening.

The incident occurred at about 7pm and involved a local man aged 32 who was confirmed dead at the scene.

Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said preliminary investigations found that the accident involved a car driven by a 35-year-old local man.

He said the motorcyclist is believed to have emerged from the junction suddenly, leaving the driver unable to avoid the collision.

As a result of the impact, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

Police have urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward to assist investigations.
