A driver lost control while reversing in front of his home, first damaging his own fence before crashing into a neighbour’s property, leaving the neighbour’s gate and fence severely damaged. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to a social media post on Xiaohongshu, a user claiming to live next door said the driver was an elderly man who may have experienced a sudden health issue during the incident and was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred on Tuesday (Feb 3) at 8:16 a.m. in the We Province district. CCTV footage circulating online shows a white, locally made Viva reversing out of a driveway before suddenly accelerating, crashing into the neighbour’s fence, entering the front yard, and then rolling back toward the driver’s own property.
The video also reveals that the vehicle’s door was open at the time of the impact. The force of the collision caused much of the neighbour’s fence to collapse, scattering debris across the yard. The entire sequence was captured on CCTV, sparking widespread discussion online.
