A robbery was reported at a goldsmith shop along Indian Street in Klang this morning, with police quickly sealing off the premises to facilitate investigations.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 11am. Police cordoned off the area surrounding the goldsmith shop and barred unauthorised individuals from entering the scene.
The forensic team was also called in to examine the premises and collect evidence as investigators work to determine exactly what happened.
As the incident took place along a busy stretch in central Klang, police also implemented road closures and traffic control measures around the area, with personnel deployed to manage traffic.
As of now, police have not released further details about the case, including the number of suspects involved, how the robbery was carried out or the estimated value of the losses.
