Homeless Dead Man With Flies Swarming His Face Found Outside Bangsar Restaurant

Date:

While on his way to a restaurant for breakfast, Mohamed Faizal Basirudin noticed a man lying on the pavement with flies swarming his face.

The 40-something-year-old witnessed the discovery of a man believed to be homeless outside a restaurant on Jalan Ara Kiri, Taman Lucky, Bangsar, earlier today.

“I had just parked my vehicle and saw the man lying there. It looked strange because there were flies all over his face,” Mohamed Faizal said, recalling the incident at around 7:15 a.m. while waiting for his wife.

“At that moment, I didn’t know whether he was still alive,” he added.

Authorities later revealed that the man had died after being pushed by another individual, according to CCTV footage. The police have opened an investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Brickfields District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Hoo Chang Hook, confirmed the incident, stating: “Police are conducting investigations at the scene, and any updates on the case will be announced.”
