The junction connecting Jalan Lapangan Terbang to Lorong Lapangan Terbang 1 near the voco hotel will be temporarily closed overnight for sheet-piling dismantling works.
Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd said the closure will begin at 10pm on Friday and is scheduled to remain in place until 5am on Saturday.
The company advised motorists to plan their journeys ahead and use alternative routes while the temporary closure is in effect.
“Please adhere to all traffic management control measures, road warning signs and speed limits to ensure the safety of road users and construction workers,” it said in a statement on Friday.
The closure is part of ongoing construction-related activities in the area, with motorists advised to exercise extra caution when travelling near work zones.
Sarawak Metro said members of the public would be informed if there were any changes to the temporary closure arrangements.
