A man believed to be in his 50s was found dead inside a car along Jalan Taman Semarak, Nilai, today.
Nilai district police chief Superintendent Johari Yahya said police received a 999 emergency call from a member of the public at 10.49am alerting them to the incident.
“An initial examination by the Nilai Health Clinic team confirmed that the man had died,” he said in a statement.
Johari said a forensic team from the Negeri Sembilan police contingent headquarters found no signs of a struggle on the man’s body, while no criminal elements had been detected so far.
Several medications believed to belong to the man were also found inside the vehicle.
The case has been classified as sudden death, with police continuing their investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The man’s body was taken to the forensic unit at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar in Seremban for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
