Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a car along the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway towards Kuala Lumpur this morning.
Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said police received information about the crash at about 8am.
He said initial investigations found that the 35-year-old local motorcyclist was travelling in the left lane when he is believed to have lost control of his motorcycle before falling into the middle lane.
At the same time, a car travelling in the middle lane was unable to avoid the victim and subsequently collided with him, causing the motorcyclist to suffer fatal injuries.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash at KM301.4 of the highway.
Police are now seeking members of the public who witnessed the incident, particularly motorists who were travelling through the area around the time of the accident.
