Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) has announced a reduction of up to 10 per cent in the cost of service maintenance parts and labour charges, effective June 19, as part of its initiative to ease the financial burden of vehicle owners amid rising living costs.
The national carmaker said the initiative covers all Perodua models, including its electric vehicle, the QV-E, and applies to a wide range of services such as inspections, parts replacement, and labour-related maintenance work.
In a statement, Perodua said the move reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting customers by offering more affordable ownership costs while maintaining service quality across its authorised service centres nationwide.
Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said the reduction was based on adjustments in both parts pricing and labour charges, resulting in overall savings of around 10 per cent on average service bills.
He said customers are encouraged to visit authorised service centres to benefit from the revised pricing and to ensure the continued use of genuine parts for better vehicle reliability and performance.
Zainal Abidin added that with more than five million Perodua vehicles on the road and 3.7 million units serviced annually, the initiative is expected to benefit a large segment of Malaysian motorists.
He also said the campaign aligns with Perodua’s broader effort to provide better value and enhance customer support services across the country.
