Police Probe Four Youths for Allegedly Throwing Objects at Public

Date:

Four 13-year-old teenagers are helping police with investigations following their suspected involvement in two separate rash acts in Punggol late last year.

In a statement issued on Feb 23, police said they were first alerted to an incident along the park connectors near Punggol Waterway Point at about 12.15am on Dec 19, 2025. The youths allegedly hurled a plastic bag containing a clear liquid, along with an empty plastic bottle, in the direction of members of the public.

Just days later, at around 12.20am on Dec 22, 2025, officers came across several traffic cones placed across three lanes on Punggol Drive, causing an obstruction to vehicles travelling along the road.

Investigations by officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division led to the identification of four teenagers believed to be linked to both incidents. The youths are currently assisting with inquiries.

Under Section 336(a) of the Penal Code, a person convicted of committing a rash act that endangers the safety of others faces a jail term of up to six months, a fine, or both.

Police stressed that they take a serious view of actions that jeopardise life or personal safety, and warned that firm action will be taken against those who flout the law.
