A homeowner in Bandar Puncak Alam, Selangor, lost cash and jewellery estimated to be worth RM10,000 after the house was allegedly broken into on Friday afternoon.
Sungai Buloh district police chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said police were alerted to the incident after receiving a report on Saturday.
Preliminary investigations found that the burglary happened at around 3.25pm, when the occupants were away from the house. Police discovered pry marks on the rear door, which is believed to have been the point of entry.

Police have also obtained CCTV footage from a neighbouring property, which allegedly captured a man dressed in a white shirt in the vicinity of the house around the time of the incident.
