A pickup truck allegedly driven under the influence of “vape mushroom” crashed into an auto spare parts shop and hit a pedestrian along Jalan Besar Kuantan here yesterday.

The incident left a 68-year-old pedestrian injured.

Kuantan District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ashari Abu Samah, said the 11.30am incident occurred when the Toyota Hilux was travelling from Jalan Teluk Sisek towards Kuantan town.
