Teen Rushed To Hospital After Suspected Poison Incident At School

A Form Five male student was admitted to hospital after he was suspected of consuming a poisonous substance within the compound of a school in Sungai Siput on Friday.

Sungai Siput District Police Chief Superintendent Charan Ai Wan said the student was rushed to hospital for treatment and is currently reported to be in stable condition.

He said preliminary investigations found no evidence of criminal elements linked to the incident.

According to Charan, police are continuing their investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the case.

He urged the public not to speculate or spread unverified information while investigations are ongoing.

Charan also called on everyone to respect the victim’s privacy and avoid any actions that could interfere with the police investigation.

The authorities are continuing to monitor the case, with further updates expected once investigations have been completed.
