Two Teenagers Caught Stealing Mosque Funds During Friday Prayers

Date:

A video showing two teenagers allegedly stealing funds from Al-Irsyad Mosque in USJ 1, Subang Jaya, has gone viral on social media.

The incident was reportedly captured by the mosque’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) system at about 1.47pm on Friday, according to a TikTok post by account @Zebra.58934901.

The post called on members of the public who may recognise or have seen the teenagers to provide information to the relevant authorities.

“If anyone sees these boys, please let us know,” the account owner wrote.

The post also alleged that the teenagers had stolen money from the mosque’s fund and claimed one of them was already experienced in stealing.

The incident was believed to have occurred while worshippers were performing Friday prayers.

However, the allegations, including the circumstances of the incident and the amount of money allegedly taken, have not been independently verified so far.
