A video allegedly showing a heated argument between a husband and wife at a fast food restaurant near Senai International Airport has gone viral on social media, sparking concern among netizens.
The incident was shared on Threads by user @sososobrino_, who claimed the woman was working at the premises when her husband allegedly arrived and began shouting at her, demanding that she return home to take care of their child.
In the post, the user expressed frustration over the incident, saying not every man deserves to be called a husband or father, while questioning the man’s alleged behaviour in a public setting.
“Imagine your wife is at work and you show up yelling in front of her workplace, demanding that she go home and look after the child.
“I witnessed everything because my car happened to be parked right next to them. The man even looked like he was about to raise his hand and hit his wife and child,” the user wrote.
The video quickly attracted attention online, with many social media users expressing concern for the safety and wellbeing of the woman and child believed to be involved.
Several netizens urged relatives or close friends of the woman to step in and provide support if necessary.
“If any family members or relatives of this woman come across this video, please help her and her child. Keep them away from someone who loses his temper so easily,” one commenter wrote.
The viral footage has since generated widespread discussion, with many calling for greater awareness of domestic conflicts and the importance of ensuring the safety of those involved.
Meanwhile, Kulai District Police Chief, Tan Seng Lee, when contacted on Wednesday, said police had not received any reports regarding the incident at the time of writing.
Authorities have yet to verify the claims circulating online or confirm the circumstances surrounding the incident.
