Would You Still Use It? Woman Used Office Microwave to Dry Her Underwear

Date:

How safe are shared facilities at the workplace? A woman has sparked outrage online after confessing that she once dried her soiled underwear in her office pantry’s microwave, raising serious concerns about hygiene in communal spaces.

According to her anonymous post on X, the woman recounted an embarrassing incident that happened during working hours. She explained that she had stomach trouble one day and accidentally soiled her pants at work. Panicked, she rushed to the restroom, removed her underwear, and washed it clean.

But what shocked readers was what she did next—she placed the damp underwear into the office microwave in the pantry to dry it.

“I ran into the restroom to wash my underwear, then used the company pantry’s microwave to dry it,” she wrote. “After that day, I never touched the office microwave again—but my colleagues kept using it as if nothing happened.”

The woman even made a crude joke about the situation, suggesting that perhaps one of her colleagues might unknowingly have “fallen in love” with her through using the same microwave.

Her confession quickly went viral, triggering widespread disgust and anger. Netizens were horrified by her actions, calling them “unbelievable” and “revolting,” while expressing sympathy for her unsuspecting coworkers. Some even admitted they would never dare use a workplace microwave again, fearing they couldn’t be sure how it had been “misused” before.
