The Sessions Court has ordered Ismanira Abdul Manaf, 30, the mother of six-year-old autistic child Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matin who passed away in 2023, to enter her defence on charges of child neglect linked to his death.
Judge Dr Syahliza Warnoh ruled that the prosecution had presented a prima facie case against her.
Meanwhile, Ismanira’s husband, Zaim Ikhwan Zahari, also 30, was acquitted of the joint amended charge brought against both earlier this year.
