Israel Launches Strikes on Six Countries in Three Days, Killing Dozens

Date:

In just three days, Israel has launched attacks on six countries—Qatar, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen—according to Al-Jazeera reports.

On Tuesday, Israel drew global condemnation after conducting a precise airstrike on Doha, Qatar’s capital. The attack targeted a complex hosting Hamas leadership, who were reportedly meeting to discuss a U.S.-proposed ceasefire. Six people were killed, including the son of senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya, his office director, three bodyguards, and a Qatari security officer.

Additionally, an Israeli drone reportedly attacked a major ship from the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) while it was docked at Sidi Bou Said port in Tunisia on Monday night. The following day, a second flotilla ship, Alma, sailing under a UK flag, was also targeted in Tunisian waters. Both incidents are suspected to have been carried out by the Israeli military.

Israel also conducted another airstrike on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, on Wednesday, targeting Houthi positions. The strike hit Sanaa Airport, marking the second attack on the same location in a month.

In Gaza, Israeli airstrikes since Monday have killed at least 150 people and injured over 540. Among the dead, 67 were killed while seeking aid, and six—including two children—died from starvation. Since the war began in October 2023, more than 64,656 Gazans have died, including 404 from hunger, with thousands still trapped under rubble.

Israeli fighter jets also struck the Bekaa Valley and Hermel regions in eastern Lebanon on Monday, killing at least five. Israel claimed the attacks targeted Hezbollah weapon depots, though this has not been independently verified.

Late Monday night, Israeli jets carried out a series of airstrikes in Syria, including the Syrian Air Force base in Homs and a military barracks near Latakia. No casualties have been reported so far, but Syria’s Foreign Ministry condemned the strikes as a blatant violation of its sovereignty.
