Johor UMNO Youth Chief Calls For Strong Party Discipline And Obedience

Date:

Johor UMNO Youth Chief Noor Azleen Ambros has reminded all party leaders and members to consistently uphold loyalty and obedience to the party, regardless of their position or rank.

He said loyalty should not change depending on circumstances, especially when an individual is no longer holding positions within the party or government.

According to him, when the party entrusts someone with a role, loyalty is often displayed, but that value must remain even after they are no longer in leadership positions.

“When the party elevates us with positions, we obey and remain loyal. But when the party no longer supports us, we should not reject that loyalty and obedience,” he said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

He added that when individuals no longer hold any positions, they should repay the trust previously given by the party in a proper manner, rather than resorting to threats or incitement.

“When we no longer have any positions, we should return the trust and loyalty the party gave us, not respond with threats or provocation,” he said.

Noor Azleen stressed that every member must understand that the party belongs to all and not to any single individual.

He also urged party leaders to set a good example for the younger generation on the true meaning of loyalty, discipline and commitment in political struggle.

“Show the younger generation in the party what true loyalty and obedience to the party really means,” he said.

Separately, BN Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is expected to announce the BN candidate list for all 56 state seats in the upcoming Johor state election at the UMNO Johor headquarters at 2.30pm today.

Earlier, Johor State Assembly Speaker Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi hinted at a major announcement on 27 June, citing concerning developments within Johor UMNO.
