Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has reaffirmed that he remains the president of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), dismissing any speculation over his leadership of the party.
In his New Year message to Bersatu members, Muhyiddin also stressed that the party continues to be part of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, despite him no longer serving as PN chairman.
“I wish to stress that I continue to lead Bersatu as its president,” he said.
He added that Bersatu remains a loyal partner within PN and will continue to uphold cooperation within the coalition to ensure its stability and strength.
“Although I no longer head PN, Bersatu’s commitment to the coalition remains firm for the sake of unity and resilience,” he said.
