Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has conveyed his condolences to Pahang Sultan Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the entire Pahang Royal Family following the passing of Tengku Puteri Seri Kemala Tengku Datuk Sri Aishah Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah.
Anwar prayed for Allah SWT to shower blessings and forgiveness upon the late royal and grant her a place among the righteous.
He also prayed for strength and patience to be granted to the Sultan of Pahang, Tengku Ampuan Pahang and the entire royal family as they mourn their loss.
“May the Sultan of Pahang, Tengku Ampuan Pahang and the entire Royal Family be granted strength and patience in facing this deeply felt loss. Al-Fatihah,” he said in a Facebook post today.
The late Tengku Puteri Seri Kemala passed away at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur at 9.15pm yesterday.
Royal Comptroller of the Sultan of Pahang, Major General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya, said her remains would be brought to the Pahang Royal Mausoleum in Pekan this morning for burial with full honours and royal ceremonial rites.
