Midnight Drama At Tasik Biru
The dramatic rescue unfolded at about midnight when a car carrying a woman in her 40s and her daughters, aged three and six, reportedly veered into the lake. The trio was successfully pulled out before being rushed to Hospital Sungai Buloh for further treatment.
One of the rescuers, 33-year-old Mohamad Fahmi Ismail, said he was having moreh with friends when a message in a community WhatsApp group alerted them to a Proton X50 sinking in Tasik Biru.
He and several others immediately rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they were met with chaos as cries and screams from the children could be heard from inside the vehicle, which was close to being fully submerged.
Without hesitation, the group entered the water and managed to bring the victims to safety — a swift and decisive response that turned a potential tragedy into a story of hope and heroism.
