Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, have expressed their well-wishes for former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s speedy recovery.
In a Facebook post, Anwar wrote, “Wan Azizah and I pray for Tun Mahathir’s swift recovery. May God bless him.”
Tun Dr Mahathir fell at his home earlier this morning and was sent to the National Heart Institute at 9:30 a.m. for observation.
Although Anwar departed today for an official visit to Turkey, he took to Facebook to express his concern and support for Tun Dr Mahathir following the news of his hospitalisation.
