RM100 SARA Aid Can Be Used Until End of December, Says Deputy Communication Minister

Date:

The one-off RM100 Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) assistance, distributed via national ID cards, can be used until 31 December 2025.

Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching reassured the public that there is no need to rush and queue at payment counters to use the credit.

“If you’re worried about long lines, you can visit any nearby participating grocery stores or shop gradually over time,” she said. “Don’t worry, you have a full four months to use this credit.”

Nie Ching made the remarks during a field visit to a grocery store participating in the MyKasih program today.

She also advised the public not to be concerned about previous system glitches. The system has now been stabilized with a 60% increase in capacity.

“I believe the issues on the first and second day were caused by too many people trying to redeem the aid at the same time. Now, citizens can use their SARA credits without any worry,” she added.
