In a stunning development for UFO enthusiasts and congressional oversight alike, US Congressman Eric Burlison of Missouri has been authorised to visit top-secret military facilities, including the infamous Area 51, as part of his ongoing investigation into Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).
Speaking on the ALN Podcast, Burlison said his request for access, submitted to former President Donald Trump and his administration, was approved. The access includes US military bases where reports suggest the presence of unidentified craft, unusual materials, alleged alien bodies, and archived records.
Burlison, a member of the congressional oversight committee for UAP investigations, highlighted decades of whistleblower claims suggesting that secret programs may have covered up evidence of extraterrestrial life. “The White House has told the Department of Defense to make it happen,” Burlison said, noting that the directive was meant to facilitate his access to classified information and sites.
Over the years, several military sites—including Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the Atlantic Undersea Testing and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) in the Bahamas, and Nevada’s NTTR range—have been linked to reports of non-human craft and reverse-engineered experimental aircraft. Burlison revealed that one facility outside the United States reportedly houses an object “so large it cannot be moved” and is enclosed in a purpose-built building.
Initially sceptical, Burlison said he became convinced of the reality of UAPs after meeting whistleblower David Grusch, whose testimony helped bring military encounters with unidentified craft into public hearings. Evidence presented so far has included declassified images and videos of alleged non-human craft, some of which survived missile strikes during military tests.
Burlison criticised the government for complicating access to UAP records, calling it an obstacle to transparency. “No government has the right to withhold from you and I whether we are alone in the universe,” he said.
The congressman also indicated he has leads on additional whistleblowers, though potential witnesses have been hesitant due to the risk of losing security clearances. As Congress prepares for further UAP hearings, Burlison’s visits could provide the first opportunity to examine classified evidence of non-human intelligence firsthand.
