Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, wife of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, has died at the age of 100.
Her passing was confirmed by her son, Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir, who said she died at the National Heart Institute (IJN) this morning.
Dr Siti Hasmah leaves behind seven children.
She was born in 1926 and was Malaysia’s former first lady during Dr Mahathir’s tenure as prime minister.
