With the 2026 FIFA World Cup now entering its final days, football fans are turning their attention to the tournament’s showpiece finale as the race to crown the next world champion nears its conclusion.
The tournament, which kicked off on 11 June and made history as the first FIFA World Cup to be jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, will conclude with the final on 20 July at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Although the semi-finals—featuring Argentina vs England and France vs Spain—have yet to be played, excitement is already building for the championship match.
For fans still hoping to experience the World Cup final in person, FIFA has released a final batch of tickets for the highly anticipated clash.
Around 1,200 Category 2 tickets remain available, with most seats located in the upper tiers of the stadium. Each ticket is priced at US$7,380 (approximately RM30,100).
Supporters looking for a closer view of the action can still purchase Category 1 tickets, although prices exceed US$30,000 (around RM122,000) per seat.
The latest ticket release represents one of the final opportunities for football fans to witness the crowning of the next world champion from inside the stadium.
For those unable to travel to New Jersey, the World Cup final will still be broadcast live worldwide, allowing millions of supporters across the globe to follow the tournament’s biggest match from home.
