As severe flooding continues to worsen in Hatyai, Thailand, desperate residents are taking extreme risks in their struggle to reach safety.

A viral video circulating online shows three individuals clinging to overhead electrical cables and carefully inching their way across, attempting to escape the rising floodwaters below. The dangerous scene was filmed by a resident from an upper-floor unit, who later uploaded the footage to Facebook.

According to comments online, the men may have resorted to this life-threatening act after waiting for rescuers who had yet to arrive. Their escape attempt placed them in a perilous situation, where they faced both the risk of electrocution and the danger of plunging into the raging waters.

The video has left many viewers stunned, with countless people expressing concern and praying for the safety of those involved.
