Aircraft Accident in Taiping Leaves Pilot and Trainee Injured

Police have confirmed that a light aircraft accident occurred near Tekah Airport in Taiping on Sunday morning, involving a pilot and a trainee.

Taiping police district chief ACP Mohamad Nasir Ismail said the incident was reported at around 10.30am via the NG MERSS 999 alert system. Both victims, a 46-year-old pilot and a 40-year-old trainee, were taken to Taiping Hospital and are now in stable condition.

Police personnel were immediately deployed to the scene to monitor the situation and coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure safety in the area. ACP Mohamad Nasir also urged residents to provide any information to assist in maintaining public safety and risk control.

Authorities continue to assess the scene and monitor the situation to safeguard nearby residents.
