Two men were killed in a crash involving two motorcycles and a car along Jalan Mambau here last night.
Seremban police chief Assistant Commissioner Azahar Abdul Rahim said the accident occurred at about 9.34pm and involved a Proton Waja and two Honda motorcycles ridden by the victims, aged 41 and 46.
Initial investigations indicate that one of the motorcyclists veered into the opposite lane, struck the side mirror of the car, and then collided with the second motorcycle travelling behind the vehicle.
“Both motorcyclists, who were lorry drivers, sustained severe head and facial injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene,” he said in a statement today.
The bodies were sent to the Rembau Hospital Forensic Unit for post-mortem examinations. The car’s driver and passenger were unharmed.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act.
